SUMMARY: Gerald Neels, Sr., worked as an insulator for about 30 years, during which time he was exposed to Kaylo block and pipe insulation, manufactured by Owens-Corning Fiberglass. Mr. Neels died of lung cancer at age 62. Suit was brought against Owens-Corning Fiberglass.

Defendant argued causation, claiming that Mr. Neels was a heavy cigarette smoker, who smoked two to three packs a day.
